NASL Website From 2015
I really wanted to interview Werner Roth. It had been a goal of mine to meet this legend ever since I had watch Escape To Victory. When the opportunity to actually interview him came about , I jumped at the chance. NASL wanted an interview and placed me in their writers pool to talk to Mr Roth. I thought I would do the interview over the phone but I was pleasantly surprised when Mr Roth asked me to come over to his home and do the interview there. When I got there, I was treated like an old friend and proper guest as we sat in Mr Roth's garden, drank lemonade and talked about his career. Once again, the old adage that you shouldn't meet your heroes was proven false. A great Interview and a fantastic person. And yes! We talked about the movie.
