I first interviewed Artur Sahakyan in 2017 when he was a player with Alashkert and a member of the Armenia National team team. The club team were visiting the US to play some friendly matches and I was asked to do a few interviews and follow them around.
One year later, I was in Yerevan to watch Armenia vs Poland and later to watch Sahakyan’s domestic side play a match.
2020 and Sahakyan is now Executive Director of FC Noah. FC Noah were champions of the Armenian Premier League and had even ventured into Europa territory. A big accomplishment for a club that’s only a few years old. Watch this space!
